You can buy products to put on the lawn that make it smell like dog urine so that they’ll be more likely to understand that that’s where they should go.
You did the right thing with waiting for you dog. Try that again, but next time, get really excited–like your dog just pooped out a million dollars. Make it into a HUGE deal and run him inside to get a treat. Remember Repetition and Patience.
With pody training puppies it takes time. you need to take them out every hour on the hour and at night leave them in a kennel until they understand. and dont worry you can alway put a couple of ice cubes in there so if you dog gets thirsty it can drink without the urge to go
um, well with my dog, when she kept doing her business in the house we would pick her up, stick her face as close as possible to it and say pretty loud “YOU DONT DO THAT! YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE!!!!” and then we would put her outside til shed go potty (but it would have to be a nice temperature outside) (not too hot and not too cold) and if it was too hot or too cold then you can get a kennel and put them in there when they go in the house
hope i helped! now please come to my page and answer any one of my questions
Let him know that it isn’t okay to do that. You want to let them know that you are the boss, but don’t scare them. Just use a stern and firm voice with them. You should also try shutting the door so that he can’t get in there, and just try to bring him outside quite frequently if possible. When he does go to the bathroom outside, praise him and let him know he did well because it will help him learn!
good luck!
close the bathroom door.
see what he does then…like if he picks another place, or is more willing to let you know when he needs to go out.
have you tried putting “pee-pee-pads” at the door. they usualy work when the puppy goes to it to pee take him outside than when he goes outside give him a treat or even just a piece of his food and praise him.
