My 4mth Cockapoo And 2 Cats?

We have two cats that we have had for years. They were both inside outside cats, who slept in the house most nights. We brought bella home about two months ago and the cats hate her. I figured that after a few weeks they would all get used to each other, with the cats teaching her her place. They have moved outside, i was worried about food and had to put their water and food outside for them as they never come in anymore. As soon as the cats see her they take off running and then of course she wants to chase them. I tell her “no cats” in a firm voice, but she still jumps around and barks when she see them at the slider. One of our cats is getting more courageous and will come in the house if bella is crated but not very often. Ive never had cats not school a dog before especially if they were here first. I miss my kitties, i know constant training and reminders should teach bella to leave them alone but what about the cats? ITs been two months!

i am moving in to a new apartment with a roommate I live by myself now and I let him do almost whatever he wants he good but sometimes when he gets bored and I am gone he does bad stuff like tearing of the carpet. What should I do at my new place I don’t want to put him in a crate or cage or whatever because he has never been trained like that not even by his prior owners, but I can’t have him tearing up stuff. HELP please.
Our Cockapoo Is 9 Months Old…very Cute, But…?

she is still not really potty trained. She will do #1 and #2 outside, and we take her out often throughout the day, but she also goes on the carpet in our dining room about once a day. I even put a motion detector in there and it works, but when I turn off the motion detector, she goes ahead and helps herself to pooping or peeing in our dining room! It’s like her day isn’t complete without it. I also have a carpet shampooer so I clean it up each and every time in this way, and we use “no go” spray all around. Does she just not respect us as her owner, is she just a high strung puppy that will outgrow it, or is there something else going on? We do have a kennel for her, but I really don’t like the whole “crate” philosophy. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Do Cockapoos Have Aggressive Traits In Them? My 1.5 Year Old Cockapoo Is Very Food Possessive. What Can I Do?

It’s is pretty much in the question. He has became less food possessive but he still has his moments if I get near him while he is eating. Do cockapoos have naturally aggressive traits in them? He is also on a leash almost all day because we are not sure how to train him to not eat our socks. I don’t want to spank him and I feel like training classes won’t work. Please answer one of these questions. Thank you! By the way if you need details or have questions just ask and I’ll add details.
Any Ideas On How To Potty Train And Retrain My 5 Month Old Cockapoo Puppy To “come”?

How do I ween my puppy off of puppy pads to want to go outside instead? We have used puppy pads since she was a 7 weeks old and I don’t know the best way to change her routine. We are also not home 2 days a week for 8 hours, so on those days, do I train her to wait till I come home to go out and do her business. Or should I let her continue to use the puppy pads on those days?
Also, she stopped following the “Come” command. She was very good at the command and we followed up with treats but were trying to wean her off treats to reward her with praise and she did well with it for awhile but she’s now not responding to the come command. I don’t know if its because she’s trying to assert her independence or if she forgets but any ideas on what to do? Should I go back to using treats again to re-train the come command?
Should I Adopt A 4 Month Old Cockapoo?

I found a 4 month old cockapoo at my local shelter, and I want to adopt him. I’ve had family dogs before, and I’m definitely a “dog person,” but by wife is definitely not a “dog person,” and this will be the first dog she has ever lived with. She’s ok with getting a small dog, but she’s still very apprehensive. I’m really wondering about three things:
1. Will adopting this puppy at four months of age create any real behavioral or training challenges I should be aware of?
2. Is this a good dog to adopt as a first pet for a woman who is somewhat afraid of dogs and insists she is “not a dog person?”
3. Are there any other key pieces of information I really need to know before moving forward with this?
Any and all advice you can provide will be GREATLY appreciated!

Our little Roxci or Foxci still deciding on the name thinks that the wee wee pad is a chew toy and she shreds it up. I am using the crate training method however how can I encourage her to go if she wants to play with it?
Tips On Taking Care Of A Cockapoo Mutt?

I come home from college and my dad surprises me with a 6-week old cockapoo to take care of for the summer. I’ve never heard of a cockapoo mix until now. My dad said that he bought him from a friend of a friend, and he hasn’t been vaccinated yet. I had a labrador pup when I was younger, but had to give him away because of the house owner, so I don’t have a lot of experience taking care of a dog, but I’m determined to give this cockapoo a lot of love and care.
I read somewhere that since it’s a mutt (and possibly the product of a puppy mill, don’t really know who this friend of a friend of my dad’s is, but he paid them $100) that it’s more prone to health problems, but just because of that doesn’t mean that we’re going to abandon him! Just to be prepared though, what kind of health problems, if any, do cockapoos usually come across?
Basically what I want to know is:
-What good quality brand of food should I feed him?
-How do I get him to stop chewing and biting the carpet/couch/slippers?
-What kind of treats should I use to train him with?
-Is it worth it getting puppy insurance?
-How often should I bathe him?
-What kind of training methods can I use to get him to get along with my cousin’s 5-year-old chihuahua/jack terrier who seems to have a dominance problem?
-How do I get him to stop crying/get used to family members leaving the room?
Thanks in advanced!
2 Year Old Cockapoo Forgetting That He Is House Trained…?

My dog is over two years old. He has been house trained for awhile, but for a few months he has been pooping on the floor is my husband and I leave at the same time. It is deliberate, I have taken him around the block and then gone to the grocery store for twenty minutes, come back and he had pooped. There had been ample time to do it on the walk before.
We take him for a walk every day, cuddle and play with him, he is alone from about 8:00am to 5:30pm, but there are lots of toys to keep him entertained.
Recently he added peeing on the floor to his way of punishing us.
What can we do to stop him?
Cockapoo Puppy!!!!?

I have a cockapoo puppy. She’s almost 5 months. I got her as a gift for Valentines day. I’m still having a little trouble with the potty training. She was bred @ what you could call a puppy farm so crate training is a little difficult. She usually can make it 2 – 3 days without mistakes. She won’t go on the pads. Any suggestions?
