Why Does Our Puppy Do This?

we have a 15 week of cockapoo who is nearly housebroken. He is completely fine sleeping alone at night (he sleeps downstairs) and he’s totally fine when we go to work in the morning. We have a dog walker that comes to let him out and walk him in the middle of the day. When we get home, we take the little guy out, we play with him (we don’t make a big deal out of our arrival). But if we go upstairs to change our clothes or go into the kitchen to grab a glass of water, whining starts as if somebody is trying to kill him!! It’s as if we are home, we can’t ever not be right next to him. We take him for a walk at night (at least 30 minutes), we play fetch, we give him affection, we train so I don’t think he is suffering from separation anxiety. When he’s left alone, he doesnt destory the house, he doesnt make accidents (if he has to go, he goes on the pee pad), i just don’t know why he whines so much when we are home with him but not in his sight. Help!

Why Does The Media Portray Pitbulls As Bad?

we currently have 2 pitbulls and a cockapoo and let me tell you they have a ball. people base their beliefs on a story they heard. i recall last year a pitbull saved a family from their burning home and the media would not mention it was a pitbull.. why do they do this? u can train any dog to be agresive just like u can train people! it is the owners fault not the dog. some pitbulls are used for narcotics & even for therapy.. did you guys knew that even hellen keller has a pitbull, i was suprised that hardly no book mentions that she had a pet and IT WAS A PIT! lol
the dog from the lil rascals, Petey was a PITBULL.. u think if they were soooo aggresive they would have them around kids for such long periods of time

When Does A Puppy Grow Out Of That “puppy Phase”?!?

I got a puppy and she is 8 1/2 weeks old. Please answer this question: If she is constantly and properly trained, when will she grow out the phase that I can only explain as “the puppy phase”. I love her and am being nice but adamant about rules. Don’t worry, Im being nice I’m 14 and we’ve had 2 other dogs but this is MY first dog so I have to care for it. I would love for her to stay a puppy forever but I can’t put up with this craziness for too long! lol
So again: She is a 8 1/2 week old Cockapoo, (half poodle, half cocker spaniel) puppy. (named Ginger – the movie star!) If you’ve seen Gilligan’s Island you’ll know that reference

I Have A 3.5 Month Cockapoo That I Am Trying To Crate Train. She Does Her Business In The Crate?

And even though I have the training pads outstide the crate, she still does her businesses in the crate. She yells and barks profusely when she is in the crate wether I am at home or not and I believe that she thinks that I will let her out if she does her business when in fact I am letting her out so I can clean the crate. Please help…. Note I have had her for 4 days; she was brought home from a pet store
