I have a 2 1/2 month old cockapoo. I have had him for a week now. What is the best way to house train? At night, he sleeps in his cage. Surprisingly, he has NEVER went to the bathroom in his cage.
But throughout the day, he will go to the bathroom throughout my place. When it happens I generally say “no” firmly and then usually will take him out right away.
Is that the best way to go about it? Thanks.
2 Year Old Cockapoo Forgetting That He Is House Trained…?

My dog is over two years old. He has been house trained for awhile, but for a few months he has been pooping on the floor is my husband and I leave at the same time. It is deliberate, I have taken him around the block and then gone to the grocery store for twenty minutes, come back and he had pooped. There had been ample time to do it on the walk before.
We take him for a walk every day, cuddle and play with him, he is alone from about 8:00am to 5:30pm, but there are lots of toys to keep him entertained.
Recently he added peeing on the floor to his way of punishing us.
What can we do to stop him?
How Do You Prevent Accidents Around The House?

I have a 4 1/2 month cockapoo and as long as I’m well trained, he doesn’t have any accidents, ie. I take him out frequently enough. So how can I be sure he’s safe to go to other people’s homes and know to go to the door to go out?
When he’s in his “room”, he knows to go to the door but when I’ve let him out around the house, he “forgets” and does it right there.
So it’s frustrating as I’d like to have him with me around the house but can’t when he just does it without running to the door to get let out.
Any suggestions on how to get him to connect that going inside is not good and that he should run to the door? I know he’s on the young side but how do you train this anyway?
Thanks.

Why Is My House-trained Dog Peeing In The House?

Our previously house-trained 4-year-old cockapoo has recently started peein in the house. Usually he goes into the master bedroom and pees on the white carpet. He has done this increasingly often over the last two weeks or so. He was pretty well house-trained before so I do not understand this!

How Can I Stop My 8 Mo. Old Cockapoo, From Peeing And Pooing In The House, On The Carpeting?.?

I tried the training pads. For us, that is the worse thing I could ever have done. I never had a problem training a pup before, but since using those cheap little pads (very thin, too), she’s always heading for the carpeting. I’m in a house with ALL WHITE CARPETING, with thick padding. Not by choice, just can’t afford to buy yet. Anyway, kenneling did not help. Sounds dumb, I know, but I have a “frisbee” dog who jumps really high, but can’t catch the frisbee! She jumps, and jumps, enough to get the kennel to tip and the tray to slide out, then get out through the larger holes in the bottom. Then I barricaded the kennel and got the tray to stay put with a lock on the front drop down door. Instead, she started chewing on the corners of the tray. Even when she got sick last week, she threw up, repeatedly on the carpeting. I locked her in my bathroom with a very tall gate. She started scratching at the 6 panel wood door, which opens inward. HELP!! WHAT CAN I DO. SHE CHEWS 2
2 Year Old Housebroken Cockapoo Has Started To Urinate In The House… What Happened?

Our 2 year old male cockapoo has been wee-wee pad trained since the beginning and we also take him outside to go to the bathroom. However, the past couple of weeks, we have discovered him making little accidents on the carpets around the house. He is still relieving himself on the wee-wee pads primarily, but randomly finding spots where he has peed every few days or so is disconcerting. Why is this happening and how do we fix it??

When ever you see it go pee or poop in the house tell it no in a deep voice and take it outside. When ever you see it go pee or poop outside tell it good dog and pet it. It worked on all the dogs I tryed it on. Never hit or yell at your dog or put it’s face in it’s pee or poop it will not theach it to go outside.
