Outside Dog To Be Trained For Indoors?

Hi all, i just got a new cockapoo/chihuahua mix and was previously kept outdoors most of the time, i would like her to be an indoor dog because the fences we have are rod iron and she can get through, she is 1 1/2 years old. we also have a shih tzu mix about 2 years, female as well, but is a total indoor dog, the cockapoo goes potty outside, but i leash her so she won’t run away through the fence. she seems to always hang out by the glass sliding door leading to the backyard and does not seem to be interested in anything else, she seems very good natured and sweet though, any advice?

What Do I Do About 4am Bathroom Breaks If Don’t Feel Comfortable Going Outside At 4am.?

Dog is a 12 week old cockapoo. He is doing a good job with house training during the day (we are using the crate training method!), but I am not comfortable going outside at 4am. Should I try puppy pads at 4am and take them up after he’s done? Will this confuse him and ruin the house training? Are there other options for 4am bathroom breaks?

its very cold where we live, and also, my husband and i arent home all the time to let him out. he pretty much has a bedroom to himself (a small one), and pees and poops only on newspaper. i change the paper a few times a day. does any one think this is crazy or gross. we’ve had him since he was 6 weeks, he’s now 14 weeks. and if i do train him,how? what should i do?

She can go outside to potty at your house but don’t let her walk around public dog areas. (Vet, petstore, dog parks..)
Crating really is the best. With her being so little I would get one with the divider and as she gets bigger you can take the divider out.

Is someone always there to let her out when she has to go?
