Teens, Any Advice For Me With A New Puppy?

My family is getting a puppy tomorrow. It’s a 7 week old cockapoo.
The reason I’m posting this in adolescent, is cause I want answers from people my own age, not answers ‘dog training experts’ will give me.
Stuff like, don’t leave your (something random) laying around.
So, teens, any advice?
