What Breed/type Of Dog Would Be Good For Me?

Alright so I know It’s Summer 09′ but next Summer I’m supposed to get a dog! Alright, well I’d get it at the end of June so over the Summer I could train it, walk it, spend time with it, let it get used to me, ETC. Well I need to know also what dog would be right for me because I’m at school 7 hours of the day. And it HAS TO BE a dog that does not bark a lot. Right now I’m kind of looking at a Jack russell terrier.

I need help! But when I get one, I’m just going to search free dog/puppy, and whatever come’s up. As long as it’s a small dog/that’s already house trained, that is NOT a chihuahua. Than I’ll probably get it… HELP, PLEASE AND THANK YOU ;-)
And as I said, I want a free dog. It DOESN’T HAVE TO BE FREE, I’m not pooor. I can spend $100-$250. I just want a free one, so it’d be easier on all of us.
I’m not asking if a Jackrussell is good for me, but WHAT TYPE OF DOG IS GOOD FOR ME? Cockapoo, Chihuahua Pitbull, Boxer, what?
And it HAS TO BE a common dog. Not a Cavachon or anything, because they don’t usually sell those/they’re rare. It has to be a common dog people sell on regular basis.
+++++++ I was looking at french bulldog’s/boston terrier’s, I really liked those! But I heard they have high medical bills, and when they do have problems is it often? Or only certain dogs. Please help!!! Thank you so muchhhh

Which Dog Would Be Good For Me?

I want a small dog — preferably under 12lbs when fully grown. I dont want him to shed, and if he is good for allergy sufferers, that would be great.
I want a dog that is loving, sweet, playful, not extremely hyper, but not a couch potato, doesnt require much grooming, doesnt bark much, easy to train, etc.
I dont really care if he is a hybrid or a pure bred, i just dont want to spend a huge amount of money on him ($300 max)
I also want him to be a little cutie that loves cuddling.
As of right now i’m thinking about getting a cockapoo, a maltipoo or a yorkipoo. Yes, i know that they are mutts, but who cares. And yes, i would check out local shelters first.
This is all of the details that i can think of right now.
So, which type of dog do you think would be perfect for me?
Any and all help is appreciated. And if you know any good sites, that would also be appreciated.
Thanks.
Oh, and yes – i asked this question earlier. I would just like more answers.

Why Would My Dog Suddenly Try To Attack Another Dog When He Has Never Done That Before?

We were at Petco with our dogs (6.5 mth olds Pepper-cockapoo, and Bandit-lab/pit mix) walking around enjoying ourselves when we go to turn down an isle and there is a man with a full blooded brindle pit bull and a smaller baby pit bull in a buggy. The man’s pit bull sees and and tries to head down the isle towards us. He wasn’t growling or barking or anything. He was just pulling his master trying to get down the isle.
Bandit (lab/pit mix) suddenly puts the hair up on his back and starts growling and showing his teeth. He was very agressive and he isn’t like that. We have been to Petco before with him. He takes training there every Tuesday. There is even an agressive Rotweiller in our class and he isn’t even that way with him. He has been around other dogs outside of Petco. We have an older pit bull down the road, 2 austrailian shepherds, and a border collie, and he has never been agressive with any of them.
He has been food agressive at home, but only with Pepper, never us. But then he and Pepper will share the same water bowl at the same time and he doesn’t have any problem with that.
We immediately pulled him away from the situation and scolded him. I have never seen him act that way to another dog. So does anyone have any ideas what could have been going through his little (well, not so little since he does weigh 45 lbs) mind when that happened? I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

What Would The Puppies Of Two Cockapoo Parents Turn Out Like?

I saw this as question open for voting on, but not answering. That’s because all the answers were wrong!
An F1 Cockapoo is a cross between a Poodle and a Cocker Spaniel. The resulting personality is unparalleled in its ability to relate to people and children. They are famous for being loyal, affectionate, open and friendly, eager to please, easily trained and they don’t shed.
Purebreds and inbreeds often carry genetic disease. Heterosis is the phenomenon where crossing two inbred lines can produce descendants with superior genetic foundation. This goal in this scenario is not to create a new breed, but to create a happy and healthy pet. You lose this benefit when you inbreed cockapoos(F2).
So the question is not what would they look like, but would they be healthy? Do you have an F2? Is it healthy?
In my opinion, If you get a cockapoo, get an F1 Poodle-Spaniel mix. Go to a reputable breeder, choose your pup based on personality, looks etc.
Am I right?
